San Diego Independent Scholars provides a welcoming and collegial environment for the intellectual community to meet, study, discuss, learn, and share ideas and concepts which enrich our lives and promote independent scholarship in the arts, humanities, and the sciences. News and Events
SDIS General Meetings (lecture and discussion), held during the academic year, are free and open to the public. SDIS Study Groups are comprised of members who share an interest and who seek to learn from study and from each other. SDIS publishes a newsletter, Scholar’s Notebook, which informs members about upcoming events and items of interest. |
